At the time I was working in a 9 to 5 job and my holidays were due. I love writing and with all the free time on my hands during the holidays began to write articles from 300 to 600 words each.
I came across something called Article Directories, ones like EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com for example, and began submitting my articles to them. Article directories are free to submit to and its pretty easy to get your work published by them.
The creative process of being able to express oneself through words appeals to me. If someone else reads my article and gets a new twist on doing things it gives me a nice buzz. When someone creates something it is a joy when it is shared with others.The internet is a great medium for any kind of artistic expression.
A few weeks went by then, I noticed I received a payment of $40.00. I did not expect any money and in the beginning had no thought of making money whatsoever on the internet. It was a total fluke.
The term article marketing was one I was unfamiliar with yet later found that this is one of the most popular internet methods in use. It is article marketing that makes me money online.
An article can be about almost anything. My method is to give the reader as much information as possible and try to make it a stand alone valuable resource. It takes some thought but with some applied concentration it can be achieved.
After a while it made sense to create a basecamp for my articles to nest. A Blog suited me best. That is how I started blogging online. My blogging came into being because of a fluke.

PS. One of the most important things in life for me is to express myself freely without restriction or limitations. Blogging is the medium that allows me to achieve this free expression.
Dancers, painters, photographers, and other creative artists can also use a Blog as a medium to express their skill, artistic expression, and showcase their ability. Blogging. It is the new freedom online.
