Twitter is huge. There is no doubt about it. Millions of people worldwide use Twitter to tweet one another. It is the fastest growing application on the net at this time of blogging. But much of the tweets people make are crap.

Notice how a lot of it is full of affiliate marketers trying to sell you stuff? I have got nothing against affiliate marketers, as I am one myself, but the fact is much of Twitter is now being used for this purpose. I am sick of spamsters trying to push e-products at you. I do not think it really works anyway. Who is going to buy from someone they do not know? I wouldn’t.

Twitter Is A Bloggers Best Friend

Well Twitter can be a bloggers best friend. It should be used by every blogger to help build up links to their Blog. Tweeting is also a powerful tool to communicate with others. I see value in this. I am not ready to side with those who say Twitter is a waste of time because they would be incorrect.

Lets See How A Blogger Can Use Twitter Effectively

1. Each time you Blog a post put a link in Twitter pointing back to your Blog. This makes you yet one more valuable backlink that Google search engine reads.

2.Tweet information that is useful for people. For example, a tweet on getting into DMOZ Directory is useful knowledge as this information helps a blogger get more traffic. Click here to add me as a friend on Twitter. Follow me and I will follow you.

I know this post will not stop the people abusing Twitter. But I can control my own Twitter posting. It all starts with yourself.
