Years ago during my esoteric class our teacher got us to sit in silence for the entire day. It was a powerful process. I noticed how energizing it was. In addition our teacher got us to do a yoga class without talking. If you are not into yoga you can still use this principle. Just pick some other discipline.

The power of silence and energy is well known to the psychic medium.

There is a strong connection between silence and energy. Stillness allows one to tune into things that you cannot do while making noise. When silent you can get in touch with your center. Silence is a core meditation technique. It is known as GOING INTO THE SILENCE. Introspection, stillness, going within, there is not enough of this quality in our hectic lifestyles. It is because we do not place any value on stillness. Nevertheless there are many benefits one gains from being able to be silent at will.

When making quiet time for yourself you are in a way honoring your own energy. It is like a personal devotion. We often think little of devoting our energy to other causes but what about our own cause? We have our own being , desires, and goals that need to be honored. This is the energy that is a part of us.

A few daily moments of personal devotion to silence gives one power. You acknowledge your own unique energy in the universe. A respect for your own being and energy clears your mind. This comes from a short daily ritual of giving yourself the gift of silence.
