There is a lot of talk on the internet and social media networks about 2012 and the Mayan Calendar. The Mayan Calendar runs out in the year 2012 and many assume this will be the end of the world. Is there any significance to this date two thousand and twelve? They are indeed right about one thing. We live in changing times.

I am writing this blog post in the year 2009 and I see change all around me. It is a new consciousness emerging. The old structure, conditioning, and patterns are falling away. We are in the middle of a new dawn of living and being. People will open their hearts and become warm once more. We have many good things coming to us if we will allow them to come.

I do not trust the Mayans. Anyone who cuts off heads for sacrifice so the sun keeps shining does not get my vote. This is what actually happened back in the cult of the Mayans. Their actions toward one another was barbaric and bloodthirsty. I pray we never become like them.

The end of the world is coming in the sense of leaving the old ways, the tired old methods that do not work, and beginning life with a new freedom of consciousness. We are in a new age of mind and spirit and it is getting stronger. Yes, the old world we know will come to an end and be replaced by a much fairer system.
