There is a big difference between a belief and knowing something. Our beliefs, as much as we do not like to admit it, may not be true. To know, means there is no doubt, it means knowledge is there, it is truth. The sad fact is many of our beliefs do not work.

Beliefs that do not work serve us in a bad way. Wrong beliefs can bring pain and suffering into our lives. I look around me and see many beliefs held closely even though they bring no benefits to people, and some would rather die first before they give up what they believe in. Yes, much ego is associated with beliefs, and it is part of personality to hold beliefs tightly to one, and confuse them with a state of true being.

To know is to have truth. It may be pleasant or unpleasant, it does not matter, but it is the truth. To know truth is to know freedom. Then it is easy to spot lies, negative energy, fear coming from others, bad vibes one of my friends calls it, and stay clean and in YOUR OWN ZONE OF PEACE AND POWER. But this only comes from knowing the truth.

Getting to the truth is a fight we have with ourselves. It is a lonely and personal journey. It is easy to keep our beliefs that we are born with, just do not ask any questions, follow mainstream media and you will be fine. But this will not give you the truth. It might give you beliefs. I choose knowing over beliefs because it is the inner knowing that sets you free.
