Chasing mystic states of consciousness is alluring. The experience of celestial visions, meeting Angels, and visiting other dimensions can give you a real kick to another spiritual doorway. Shamans are a dime a dozen but good ones, like anything else in this world, are hard to find. The Shaman has a very real responsibility to the one seeking a mystic experience.

I have had visions and mystical experiences by entirely natural methods.

I have never ventured seeking paranormal or mystical states of consciousness. They have come to me. Nevertheless I do live a lifestyle that is unusual for a modern suburban dweller. A lifestyle that is positive and full of good energy puts me in a very good position to experience mystic states. Let me give you some insights into how I live.

1. Daily Meditation. Every day without fail I meditate. This is a wonderful way to get in touch with my inner self and stay true to my values. It also gives me an energy boost. I meditate in the mornings and always begin my day with it.

2. Look After My Health. Our bodies are the vehicle we use to move with on this plane. It makes sense to take care of my body and nourish it as best as I can.

3. Caring for Others. I run small groups on personal development. It is a service I create for people. Caring for others takes you out of the ego energy and the ME, ME, ME, mentality because too much of this corrupts your inner spirit. A spirit that only thinks of itself will never experience visions or mystical states.

4. Use Karmic Principles. Karma works for an individual and the planet. By understanding a little bit about karma you pick the best long term solution to problems. I see many fall down in this regard. They take the easy way out because they think no one is watching. A short term solution seems best. But further down the track everything gets mixed up and falls apart. This is because these days, in the age of ignorance called Kali Yuga, the knowledge of karma is approaching nil.

A wise understanding and karmic approach to living benefits everyone in the long run. You would be surprised how many people and events it benefits. Everyone I have met who has experienced altered states of consciousness has a good solid understanding of karma.

A mystic state of consciousness can give you visions, information not available elsewhere, and empower you with spiritual information. It is always a blessing to receive one. Living a lifestyle of purity will cleanse perception so you can experience these things.
