Human potential is vast. There is so much that a person can do in life it blows my mind. We all underestimate our own powers. What we all need is a friend who can spur us on and tell us we can accomplish our dreams.

We Know More, Do Less

We all know more than we do. We know the right actions to perform in life yet we often do not do them. A bad habit is a good example. We know our bad habits are hurting ourselves and making those around us disappointed. Bad habits are hard to eliminate. Why?

Yes, it seems that our bad habits are divorced from what is truly good for us. Overeating as a bad habit is a good example. We know it is bad for us and still we persist in this harmful action. It seems that we have another person inside of us which takes us in the wrong direction.

Devil on One Shoulder, Angel on the Other

So we go through life split. Part of us good and part of us living in the dark side. But what if we want to leave the dark, the destructive actions, and walk in the light? Our actions often do not live up to our expectations. IS REDEMPTION POSSIBLE?

Gardening and Self Empowerment

I was talking to a gardener friend and she explained her method on how she gets her grass so green. She feeds the grass and not the weeds. The nutrient solution she places on the grass encourages growth and health of the soil. The grass health is so great weeds seldom have a chance to grow. Nice approach. She forgets about the weeds and grows grass.

The Garden of Our Actions

Actions are like grass or weeds. They can be rotten and disturbing. Alternatively actions can be graceful and bring joy. Let us concentrate on the good we can become and leave the weak side of our character. Not all at once. But bit by bit.

My gardener friend has the greenest grass I have ever seen. She gets complements all the time about it.
