Fresh Food

Anyways on the weekend I visited the local Farmers Market. I like the set up and fresh air. Not to mention the fresh food in abundant supply. I enjoy giving the local farmers my support and enthusiasm. I used to have my own market stall and I know how hard these souls work and appreciate the effort they all, men and women, put in to get their fresh food available for the public.



Tasty Fruits

While buying my fresh and tasty apples and mangoes I met a stallholder. He also happens to own his own farm so what he grows gets to be sold direct to the purchaser. I always say fresh is best. Now this gentleman and I engaged in some very interesting conversation.



Chemicals Plus

The stallholder discussed the chemicals he witnessed first hand that are being used in the food industry. Being a farmer himself he has first hand knowledge of this practice. The sad thing about the entire affair is that these chemicals mentioned end up in our bodies.



Toxic Bath

Some bodies handle the toxins better than others. But a poison is a poison. Sorry folks but when I pay for food I expect it to be poison free. How about you? Yes I agree, this is not a perfect world, but within our modern way of living we have stress enough without adding more fuel to the fire.



Slow Suicide?

Imagine your weekly rubbish bin being filled up week after week without any collection to the rubbish dump. Soon it would smell, and vermin like rats and cockroaches would come, then eventually the area would become diseased. Is this what we are doing to our bodies , that is allowing the rubbish to pile up unchecked, causing us all a slow but sure suicide?
