Your Own Outer Place for Inner Space
A sanctuary is a holy and sacred place. But unlike an outside temple , shrine, or church this is one you make in your own home. You create your own sanctuary. It is devoted to the worship of you and your own inner spirit.
Here you can meditate, contemplate, read, chant, sing , dance, make fun, in fact whatever you want. It is a place where you repair yourself after the world has taken its bites out of you. It nurtures you, it is soothing to be in your sanctuary, and opens its warm arms to you every time you enter its doorway.

My Quiet Sanctuary
I have my own quiet sanctuary. In fact I have devoted one entire room to it. In it I have my computer where I write these articles, a bookshelf, my meditation stool, and a few other items that resonate with my inner essence.
What is in your sanctuary? You owe it to yourself to have one. I find that by using my sanctuary a little everyday it builds in energy. The energy is warm, expansive, and is a real part of who I am. You can then use that energy to do other things. Like go out and make a difference in the world and in your life.
Much of modern life is fragmented, has no values, and it is rushed. You will never have inner beauty in this state. It is madness. We need peace, creativity, self respect , and an expansive energy to do what our inner desires lead us to and having your own sanctuary leads you in this direction.

My sanctuary is my living room. I have a ritual alter, plant alter(with a Green Tara brass statue).. My husband jokes about how I turn every table in the living room into an alter… I didn’t realize at first that I did this, but looking around, it’s true. This is my comfort space. This is where I perform my rituals, and meditate, and feel the most spiritual in my home. This energy is also felt by people who come to visit, and they seem to like it. I haven’t scared anyone off yet with the pentacle windchimes, and Goddess statues
very nice thought i will d this immedeately<!! <3
