To Dance or Not to Dance

I helped a photographer out yesterday. The guy was lost and looking for the address of an apartment where he had a photo shoot. The poor man had such a serious look on his face. It was a look of fear and much concern. I used to look like that when I worked 9 to 5pm.

Have you noticed everyone seems so serious these days? Maybe it is time we all stop for a moment and do some dancing and singing. If we are going to get more out of life hurry and time schedules are not the only solution.

So let us dance. Let us sing. Let us visit that friend we have not heard from for six months because we use the excuse with ourselves we are too busy. I think I might put some music on and get into my wobbly dancing myself. Wait. I better finish this blog post first!

High Fun Equals High Intelligence

My experience with individuals is the more fun they are to be around the more intelligent they are. Let me explain. When life tears you apart , disappoints you, and does not seem fair you soon lose your ability to laugh at life and laugh at yourself. You have given the victory to the darker side of your journey.

In contrast you have a few people who are highly intelligent but they have such a wicked sense of humor you wonder how they can manage such a wonderful attitude. Life has hurt these people too but they have not allowed the bad side of life to beat them. We can learn from this. Laugh a little more, do some dancing, even if you are a bit wobbly like me, and let your inner spirit shine.
