A Career You Love

In my humble opinion it is vital to spend time in a career you love. Money , that is getting paid, is important. But there is more than this to a career. There is respect for your work, a caring attitude for what you do for a living, and a belief that your work slowly and surely makes this world a better place. How are you faring so far?

It is a tragedy of this age many people work at jobs they hate. I feel you. Really. I was doing exactly this for years. If it is life draining work without any happiness you want to talk about then I am an expert! But this is a positive blog so I might have to leave this point for now. One of the best actions you can take for your new career is to begin to list the set of skills you will need in your new career.

Get Your Skills Together

If you want to be successful in your new career you need the required methods for the job. You will most likely need several skills and I call them YOUR SKILL SET. A skill set is simply a group of skills. For example the skill set for my career is writing articles, or blogging, and psychic readings. These two rate high and much of my success is built upon them.

But I need other skills for my career to work. Some information about WordPress blogs, how to get visitor traffic to my site, and how to use social media are all important. These are not my primary ones and I can say the skills mentioned in this paragraph need a lot of improvement! But the current methods allow me to function and blog what I want to say.

Focus on What You Want

If you do not like your job begin to focus on the kind of job you wish to have. List your new skills and actions even if you do not have them yet. Have a little faith in the universe and the the universe will show a little more faith in you.
