Law of Attraction

Large amounts of people became aware of the Law of Attraction back in 2006. Many people, including myself , got excited over it. This phenomenon also had people who ridiculed it in droves. There seemed to be two split camps one for the law of attraction and the other against. It was fascinating watching all of this unfold.


If we take a step back and look at our lives now in 2010 many have not produced the results they want in their lives. Why? I can say that I know many people who tried to make it work but could not. I know people who have never studied the law of attraction yet they are using it in their lives and it is working wonderfully well. Go figure?

Here are some of my perceptions, opinions, and insights into this marvelous but often misunderstood metaphysical law.


An Invitation Card

Much of the public has little knowledge of metaphysics, karma, manifesting, and how to use energy for example so when the law of attraction came along it was like a breath of fresh air. For some this was the extent of their knowledge of esoteric principles. Many got excited. In our heart of hearts we knew this was the beginning of something big and we were right. But it was not the entire deal or package. Mass media can only do so much and leave off a lot of the filling so you get only the crumbs.


I understood it as an introduction into the esoteric. It was like a invitation card to a wonderful party and you got invited. Nice to have but it was not the whole party! You need to do a little more to enjoy the party itself like get into your car and drive to the location. Then once there you are in a happy mood and greet friends, chat , and be social. It is great to have the invitation card because without it you have no idea the party is about to take place. But it is not the full experience.


We Need More Information

We gobbled up the information offered, which is a good thing, but it is not enough to create the lives we want. So does the law of attraction work or not? Yes it does, but many are disappointed in the application of it. I can understand why and I experienced similar problems. The reason for this is we have not been given all of the information to the law of attraction. We only have, in most cases, an introduction to this wonderful law.
