Lucid Dream State
Lucid dreaming is a state between waking consciousness and sleep. In this state you know you are dreaming and have complete awareness you are awake in the lucid state. You are aware of the dream and have full recall of everything about it.
The term lucid dreaming is a popular one but it is weak in the sense that dreaming has the reputation of its cultural negative associations and this stops further psychic progress. Dreams are often forgotten, not taken seriously, and if someone plans on an ambitious life project they can even be ridiculed into thinking of themselves as a dreamer. Dreaming has a bad reputation. I use another term called LUCID VISIONING. It is empowering and better serves our purpose.
Lucid Visioning
This is a powerful psychic method where you recognize you are between the border of being awake and being asleep. In this in between state of consciousness you have visions, travel to distant locations, and can see things beyond normal senses.
I have developed my own method and you enter into lucid visioning from the waking state. It took me a bit of practice to stay aware and remain in this limbo state, this borderland of awareness, and I fell asleep on many attempts! The benefits of sticking with lucid visioning are you can obtain hard to get information, have access to a greater part of your intuition, and remember all of your experience and share it with others. Here are some suggestions on lucid visioning, or lucid dreaming, if you want to try it for yourself.
Full Body Comfort
At the very beginning body relaxation is a must and there is no way to bypass this stage. Full body relaxation is required and so is mental calm and poise. No anxiety or worry should be present. Straining too hard works against you as it pushes the lucid state away from you. Keep your body reasonably warm. Comfort is the key word here.
Common Challenges to the Lucid State
Here are some challenges you can encounter on your lucid journey.
> Falling asleep.
> Not being able to relax.
> Trying too hard.
> Unable to concentrate.
> Noisy environment.
Lucid Methods that Assist You
Here are some lucid techniques that work for me and I share them here:
> Use the same body position as when sleeping.
> Concentrate on crown chakra. This is the top of the head position.
> Use the powerful I AM affirmation as preparation.
Falling into Awareness
Between being awake and sleep there is another state of wider consciousness. Here you have visions, answer to problems, and it is the open doorway to intuition. That is what makes this the lucid state so fascinating.
