Down through history famous prophets have had their say on earthquake and tsunami predictions. Nostradamus, Mother Shipton, and Edgar Cayce are three famous psychics noted for their foresight on global disasters. Let us have a look at what they said about the coming earth changes and how this impacts humanity.
Psychic medium famous predictions
Nostradamus, born on 21 December 1503 to 2 July 1566, is well known for his divination gifts and recorded accurate insight into the future even though he lived way back in the fifteenth century. He collected his psychic predictions in a book called The Prophecies. He grouped them in what he called centuries which has one hundred quatrains. A quatrain is a four line poem. Here is Century I Quatrain 69 being an example of his written predictions:
Prophet Nostradamus
“The great mountain, seven stadia round,
after peace, war, famine, flooding.
It will spread far, drowning great countries,
even antiquities and their might foundations.”
The challenge we have is in the interpretation of his psychic vision. It is true in recent times humanity has experienced a greater number of earthquakes and tsunami threats with all of the tragedy and devastation they bring. It is almost as if the four horseman of the apocalypse have been unleashed as described in Bible prophecy.
So far the facts are countries all around the globe have experienced an increase in natural disasters with major flooding and drowning. Perhaps the prophecies of Nostradamus are worthy of further investigation.
Psychic Mother Shipton
Mother Shipton had her psychic say on future calamities. She records:
“For storms will rage and oceans roar
When Gabriel stands on sea an shore
And as he blows his wondrous horn
Old worlds die and new be born.
For seven days and seven nights
Man will watch this awesome sight
The tides will rise beyond their ken
To bite away the shores, and then
The mountains will begin to roar
And earthquakes split the plain to shore.”
Mother Shipton lived from 1488 to 1561. The question naturally comes to mind how can someone view the future who lived so long ago? She talks about storms will rage and oceans roar and old worlds die and new ones born. This is a description of a TSUNAMI with its massive impact upon coastline and its destructive impact on land and infrastructure. It is interesting to note Mother Shipton and Nostradamus lived around the same time.
Clairvoyant Edgar Cayce
Edgar Cacye made thousands of predictions and books about him are popular today. He still has a large following. His earthquake and tsunami predictions are even more frightening as he talks about rising waters covering land mass and associated natural disasters:
“The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye. Land will appear off the east coast of America. When there is the first breaking up of some conditions in the South Sea and those as apparent in the sinking or rising of then we many know it has begun.”
After all of this gloom and doom from esteemed and accurate psychics it must be told that every prophet mentioned believed in the power of mankind to change its destiny. Fate is only partly told from outside sources like astrology and the star signs. The rest of our fate and future is up to us as individuals and for this we only need turn within for the right answers.
