The book of Daniel, from the Bible in the old testament section, comes alive for me in chapter two with Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream. This famous dream is a good example of how one can see the destiny of nations deep into future time. In a nutshell the future is full of many possibilities yet there is one possibility that is more likely to occur than the others. This is the insight the psychic gives you in a real psychic reading.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was unable to make head or tails from his amazing dream vision of a giant image full of gold, silver , bronze and clay. What the heck was he doing dreaming of a giant metallic statue anyway? He was mesmerized by his dream but had no explanation to its meaning or interpretation. This often stumps us when we have our own dreams. The king’s court sooothsayers were of no use in offering any dream interpretation, being baffled themselves, and here is where Daniel steps in to help.

Daniel makes psychic sense and told King Nebuchadnezzar what his allegorical dream images meant. The head of the image was gold and this was a representation of the King’s own Empire of Babylon. The silver on the giant’s chest and arms was a coming future world empire that would arise after Babylon perished. The future Roman Empire was symbolized by the iron legs of the giant. His dream was about the rise and fall of world empires and who and when they would dominate and be a superpower. Each metal in the King’s dream represented a great empire from the past to the present day. Daniel hit the mark accurately with his dream interpretation as history proved.

The Oracle of Delphi

The Oracle of Delphi in ancient Greece is, and was in its day, very famous but few facts are known about the psychic methods that were used. Travelers would visit the Delphic shrine in search of wisdom.

A senior priestess in flowing white robes would have eight psychic seers all working in harmony with their psychic method of seeing into the future. They would form a sacred circle and chant a mantra like incantation to build the energy. By projection of concentrated energy at the senior priestess she could then send out a powerful thought form into the future timeline of the seeker. This psychic method soon become so famous in its day people from Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Italy traveled to the Temple of Delphi for accurate psychic answers.

What we learn from the Delphic oracle is the importance of group energy in the pursuit of metaphysical power. The combined group energy of a psychic circle can take you far if you all sincerely work together. No one at that historical time could match the high energy of the oracle because this can only be obtained by a group of people working in harmony metaphysically. Know thyself, be thyself, love thyself. I agree.

Nostradamus

Many regard Mr Nostradamus as the single most famous psychic with accurate predictions. Ever. He lived in a dangerous time for a soothsayer. It was during the fifteenth century smack in the middle of the tumultuous Spanish Inquisition. To save you from reading the history books this was the time of large scale witch hunts all over Europe. Psychics might be in vogue now circa 2011 but back in 1500.A.D. if they suspected you of psychic powers off to the torture chamber you went where death was a welcome release.

Nostradamus wrote his prophecies in quatrains. He then grouped his quatrain writings into centuries. Each one of his Centuries has only forty six quatrains. His famous predictions include the French Revolution, the destruction of the Twin Towers on 9/11/2001, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He had amazing prediction foresight being able to view centuries into the future. I look at Nostradamus and feel many psychics would like to be like him. Imagine having your psychic predictions read five hundred years from when you first put them out? Impressive mucho.

The other piece of information I picked up about Nostradamus is he studied occult scrolls he obtained dating all the way back to ancient Egypt and the Temple of Alexandria. To stand apart from the crowd you have to do something different. Many psychics can see future timelines of individuals. It is no big deal. Seeing the future of an entire country like he did one hundred years into the future is a feat few can manage.

Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce ushered in much of the new age before there was a new age. He is known as the sleeping prophet thanks to his unique clairvoyant method and was the first to use terms such as past lives, auras, energy vibration, and raw food therapy back in the nineteen thirties. I like his psychic style. He would go into trance and solve people’s problem’s. If anything a psychic should be practical and help ease the burden of everyday living.

Edgar Cayce is the prototype of what every good modern psychic should be. He was practical, useful, offered helpful insight, and was extremely spiritual. His psychic method involved going into trance and getting answers for his clients. I find this most fascinating as his psychic technique bypasses the limitations of the mind by stepping beyond it. The mind can slow you down with all of it negative programming and what every good psychic must learn is to forget about the restrictions of the mind and tune into the heart center. Among Edgar Cayce’s predictions that came true were the 1929 stock market crash and the beginning of World War Two. He delivered over fourteen thousand psychic readings.
