The term SHAKTI is used to describe the intensity of spiritual energy. You meet people as you travel through life who have immense shakti. Somehow they have learned to accumulate this spiritual energy within themselves. This extra energy lets people achieve things out of the ordinary.

Shakti also accumulates in certain geographical locations throughout the world. It is absolutely correct god is in all things and this is the INNER meaning of the spiritual cliche: Where is God not?

As true as this saying is it is a fact that there are locations which are more geared toward SPIRITUAL growth than others.

A simple example of this is a meditation room where the practioner has been meditating regularly for six months. The entire meditation room has a cool calm ambient feel about it. This feeling remains in the room as a psychic imprint 24/7. It is the energy of the shakti that you FEEL as you enter it. If an entire suburb of homes had meditation rooms where it was a regular practice the shakti of that suburb would increase to a vast amount.

Shakti is good to have. When it is around you life becomes easier and less of a struggle. There is more harmony and you find creativity flows. Last Saturday I went to a community that was full of spiritual ENERGY. In 30 minutes I wrote a 500 word article without effort for my blog. It is the shakti that inspires you to be creative and to tune into energy streams of flow.

Satsang is the word for a community get together with peace and harmony being the primary objectives. The Beatles sung it: All you need is LOVE! Yet if you take a look at the world and the present modern conditions we live in it is a sad, sad, state of affairs.

It is hard to find a community of people who are going to support you and your journey towards personal development.

It is the lack of support that makes life so hard. If you want to achieve something BIG you know it is not going to be easy and much has to be negotiated if you are to achieve in an everlasting way. A supportive community spirit OVERCOMES this stalemate.

If we were pure spirit a simple thought would be enough to materialize our desires. There is instant manifestation in the REALM of pure spiritual energy as many astral travelers will tell you.

Yet we are spirit encased inside a physical body and the science of MANIFESTATION is reduced accordingly. A SATSANG community gathering encourages greater ease of manifesting thanks to the creative power such a gathering of positive people generates.

The WORLD influences the mind and the thoughts within. If you add up all of the junk on TV, and all of the negative people you meet on a daily basis, and all the restriction you can only have one outcome. A junky one!

If there was a world you could enter where TV was non existent, and people only encourage you , and negativity all around you was much reduced do you know what would happen? More HAPPINESS would happen because you would be closer to your TRUE nature.
