The adept influences the outside environment in peaceful and constructive ways. There is no need for a global cleansing with floods and earthquakes if lots of spiritual adepts are present in a particular country.

4. A wise way to live is to enter each day as if it is going to be your LAST day on earth. Treat each day as a special event and take care of yourself and the ones you love. Human beings are alive on earth for more than the humdrum working 9 to 5 pm existence. People are here to experience freedom if they want it. If we begin to treat each day we live as though it was our last day on earth a new positive energy will permeate all of our actions.
