I’m not here to ‘tell’ you what to post about, but it is interesting that a lot of the World religions have pointed (through mythology) to something the Calendar of the Maya is now getting us to focus on – the Changing of the Ages – the progression from one Age of Man to another. I am a spiritual person, and I am also a modern and rational person. I do not think that these two things are inconsistent.
A free mind sees things the way that they are; most of the time the explanation for things is pretty mundane, but sometimes it is not.
The contents of this article are certainly outside of the “normal” way of looking at things, but, of course, they do fit with our experience, and can’t be refuted.

planting trees in our cities is a big mistake. Think before you plant a tree. Where does the water come from? In the case of most Australia residents, it will be a desalenisation plant, which emits greenhouse gases in order to make the water. In addition, the leaves end up in a landfill, a good portion of them making methane. There is no way that a tree planted in a modern city is good for the greenhouse effect; of course I love trees, and I think they are a benefit; we need to have nature in our lives to keep our sanity. Be sure to plant trees of a species, and in a place, where they will not need to be watered (once they are established).
As for the hybrid vehicals, and other popular measures, if you look at them carefully, you will find that they have environmental costs. The inconvenient truth is, we have to consume less! Not “green” consumption, LESS consumption.

When we are younger, lower frequency, older, higher frequency.
ADD is associated with lower frequency, a sort of dreamy state, even when awake.
A tradeoff between “sharpness” and “creativity”. We require a different balance for different activities, so obviously haven’t greater control would be a tremendous advantage.
I think that it is the “thought” that counts, and by that I mean saying negetives things is not the trigger, it is the negetive thoughts.
We all remember the type A and type B personality. What was discovered was that it did not matter if the person became aggressive in an overt manner, or let their anger burn quietly inside. In either case, the anger destroys that persons health. Neither “keeping it in”, or “letting it out” does any good.
I know for myself that one of the first impressions that I had gotten from the current viewpoint on the law of attraction was that it was being pushed as if it were almost magic. In fact, in some cases, some people really do come right out and say that it is magic. Well, guess what, they are WRONG!

You appear to think that site undertakes even-handed debate on the subject but there are others who would totally disagree and claim that Realclimate sponsors have an ulterior motive in their support for The (significant human-made global climate change) Hypothesis. If you are genuinely interested in looking at The Hypothesis with an open mind then I recomment that you also seek out a layman’s guide to the sceptical side of the debate.

Being lightworkers, we are all travelers and we encounter those moments we are in a negative place with negative ppl and energy that really do make you feel like blah..but eventually we are led to the positive frequencies and we rest a lot due to draining energy situations. I have been surrounded by negativity for a few months and as the energy I was giving was changing those around me, I had to get a lot of sleep and go to nature alot. The most important thing for me to remain functioning at the rate of normalsy for me was reuniting with the lightfamily. I have missed this positive loving energy. It is more of a family than those that don’t understand can imagine. We need each other, especially now. We are all one and the love is what the negative energy needs most in order to raise to the higher frequency of light. Thank you so much for sharing this. My best friend is a tree..think about it, when you need a hug, you always know where it is, it provides protection for animals, it allows the children hours of endless pleasure swinging from it’s branches and allows tire swings a wonderful place to hang, it provides food when we are hungry, it doesn’t run away or say it has something else to do when we need to just talk or vent, it smells good and provides us oxygen in order to survive. What else could anyone want from such a beautiful creation such as the tree friend? Hug a tree today and enjoy all of the friends in the forest.

What you describe here is a very nice method of calming ourselves down, and achieve some inner control.
But it does not solve all those problems that is causing the bad news, or mayhem on the “outside”.
If we really want to achieve peace and harmony we have to find the cause of the problems in the world, and we have to find a solution to them.
Healing ourselves can only happen through healing the world, we cannot exist independently, “outside” of reality. We live in a global totally interconnected system.

This reminds me of something I read from Depok Chopra. He calls them levels of God, or something like that. I’ve just posted an article on my website which talks a little bit about ‘negative’ energy and how energy is exchanged between you and other people (or clients). Basically the way I understand energy is there is no positive or negative energy. Energy is simply energy and it’s our mind that judges it as positive or negative in reaction to sensations in the body/mind or our experiences. The Orange experiment
Imagine a ripe orange presented to be representative of our own Earth. An orange has a small internal core surrounded by sachets of juice, on its outer layer it has a crust that we refer to as the peal. Yet to be reflective of our Earth, we need to consider Platonic’s, thus a knife can provide a good crack or two. As for the oceans well this can be represented via the science of pressure and weight. Hence by placing ones hands upon the outer layer of the orange and then thus applying pressure to represent the oceans, an interesting thing will happen. Well enough said let’s leave it up to any who may wish to try the experiment.
Bringing back the balance is what must be done, for soon the damages unfolding will mount to quite a sum. For it is to another science that the politicians and policy makers need to turn, this they must do quickly for the truth they must now learn.
The hypothesis of balance
Firstly the problem is with water and not carbon. Farming and mining activities over decades have drawn water resources from deep in the ground. This water has evaporated or simply run across the ground. Into the creeks and rivers and finally into the sea, where it lowered the salinity level that aided sea ice to melt. A number of inland seas have been syphoned and turned into dust bowls. Even the ancient inland sea found within this country Australia has become void of water. Hence the oceans have risen very high indeed.
So the scientists look to the atmosphere and measure the temperature and currents of the oceans, while others look to the loss of forests and the increased flow of water into the seas.
Instead of reduced stream flows the scientists now find increased flows due to the lowering of water retention within the soils. Yet the underling problem that so threatens the entire human species together with that of other life forms remains right within your sight. But blind with greed and ambition have many become that they simply can not see the true picture, even though the warning signs have begun.
These warning signs include the awakening of ancient volcanoes, the rumbling of earthquakes including the odd stance of several quakes occurring along the Indo – Australian Plate interacting with the Eurasian and Pacific plates towards the end of 2009. Even the Haiti and recent Chile quake could be attributed to my hypothesis. I trust the magnitude of an 8.8 earthquake deemed the 7th highest on record has opened a few scientific eyes.
So what is the purpose of this communication?
It is to focus urgent attention upon physics covering areas of mass and weight; volume and pressure; velocity, acceleration and motion; interaction and contraction; gravitational fields and distortion; composition of forces that focus upon energy; consequences of altering a curvilinear path; friction and torque will undermine the current rort; evaporation, vapour and thermal effects; refraction and diffraction could but help; vibrations and the study of the northern lights; magnetism and declination; gravity and power will reveal the true fate.
Hence Haiti is the first example of what man has done for Haiti is the start of what is to come. As for volcanoes they will erupt, but what will wake many is when the very old wakeup. But this is no movie script that I present, for the world as you know it will be changed by each event. Mankind has instigated this earth to rearrange, yet to alter this path man has to change. As for the planet Eden life does it protect, so it will enact an ice age event. The Northern Hemisphere colder will it go for an ice age of a thousand years no war will be in toe. Thus now the thousand years of peace do I now present, for this is what the old words truly meant.
For sometime scientists have been anticipating a major earthquake to occur along the Indo-Australian Plate near Indonesia. My hypothesis will focus attention upon the point of least resistance; therefore look towards the Philippine Plate. Countries involved will include Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia and numerous pacific islands.
As for an earthquake there will seem to be many but my hypothesis will deem this to have originated from one single physical force as in pressure from below and found within the study of physics. However this will not be the only plate to be affected for all plates should likewise experience ever increasing earthquake activity, meaning that my theory will likewise say that the magnitude of major earthquakes will intensify. Perhaps this theory will help focus scientists upon the true task at hand.

I feel for this woman. I can completely relate to the sadness she is experiencing. Maybe she feels so powerless because she feels as though she cant change her life situation. she may believe it is to selfish to have a life of her own separate from her parents. And therefore hasn’t formed her own identity. Her family may have encouraged her to self sacrifice her own needs for theirs.

As both the buddha and Dr. David Hawkins said and I’m paraphrasing “Your karma is the state of your life and body today, this instant. You future depends upon what you focus your mind upon now.”
There is also a term Prahab Karma (I may have spelled it wrong) that was explained to me by Brandon Bays (student of Papaji the successor to Ramana Maharshi) that if you are making an effort to live a good live sometimes it is possible to only pay a small portion of your Karmic debt (kind-of-like a “spiritual short sale”, my words). I had a heart attack after becoming vegan and giving up coffee and sweets for a month. She said maybe Karma was to have me die of that heart attack, but that I made those changes unconsciously knowing that it was what needed to be done to save my life. Pharab Karma.
Also NLP if you study with Bandler and Barb Stepp includes lots of energy work too. Bandler reciently said that the submodalities and pictures we see are real, they are energy that exists not imagined.
Alas maybe it is your Karma to believe that we are prisoners to our Karma . . .

I sure know about absorbing parental negative energy. Some children except this as part of there being and take on more than they need to. It’s like having your spirit killed and not understanding why. It can take deep therepy and soul searching to finally come to realize why you lived that particular personality at that time. Seeing your own parents still living in misery and negativity is sad.

I think you’re the first to confirm these etheric spiders. I immagined a large black spider attacking me. It kept coming into my consciousness and I think it was trying to feed off negative things I was doing. It was trying to get me to focus on negative things and feed off me. I even had unusual real spiders coming into my house. I was about to go to bed one night and I had a black spider about one foot away from me and looking at me. I turned away from negative things I was doing and immagined myself in the armor of God as shown in ephesians 6 in the bible. Now it seems these spiders have left me alone.
