I am experiencing a pleasing trend with my readings. More and more people are becoming aware there is much more to life than the same old mechanical boring and soul stifling routine. I love it when I see a person become more of what they are capable of being. If I have the good fortune to play some part in this act it is even more pleasing and , yes, a part of my own soul purpose.

Knowing why we are here, and the reason for living, gives us meaning and a sense of direction. Souls continue to expand and wish to become more. They achieve this by taking on new challenges, learning new information, and assisting more people in the community outside of their own circle of interest and living.

Ignore at Your Peril

If you stop, block, and ignore your soul expansion of becoming more it leads to a feeling of non meaning and unfulfilled yearnings. You know you can do more but often cannot put your finger on what you really should be doing. You only know there is a better way even though you may not know exactly what it is with clear insight.

I believe everyone has the right, the universal human right, to work in a career they love and enjoy. But we were not shown the way when young. Like the sailor without a map we are told about the New World, how we have our whole lives ahead of us, but are not shown how to do it or how to get to our prized destination. Do you not think this strange?

Awakened Soul

If we all awakened to our soul purpose tomorrow the world would be transformed overnight. Imagine a world full of happy people doing what they loved to do for a job. The positive energy coming from this would revolutionize our lifestyles. Since no one showed us how to discover our soul purpose we have to use our own intuition and heart feeling. Get in tune with what you want for a career change and begin to plan it in your mind first since what happens in our real life is only a reflection of our mental state.

Shopping Day

The other day I was shopping in one of those huge mega market type shopping centers. I love the setup. You get grocery, banking, hair care, in fact just about anything you want all under one roof. All this material prosperity is abundant, yet it strikes me as rather strange only about one person out of ten appear happy. The rest of the people looked like they were about to sit on an electric chair and drive their astral body away from their physical body forever.

I bought myself a coffee, in the food court, sat down, to sip it slowly. I was enjoying my own company, and coffee, when a man in his senior years, say around seventy years of age, sat next to me.

“Hello,” I said,”What are you doing today?” I asked.
“Me and the wife shopping,” he replied in a thick European accent.

“Good on you,” I said,”You’ve worked hard all your life and now in your senior years deserve to have not a care in the world.” A look of sadness swept over his face.

“This country,” he went on,”The kids no look after the parents. They all leave, and the poor parents are left to fend for themselves in their old age,” he said as he looked at me with despair.

“I understand,” I said. I wanted to say more but could not. For this gentleman it was too late for him.

Karma and Drama

Metaphysical class 101 says that one such universal law is how you treat others and the situations you make others endure, the same will be returned to you. Well, maybe its not all his fault, and everyone has lessons to learn, but the fact is, as he stated to me, this man is alone and his children couldn’t care less.

Maybe he did the same thing to his parents. Maybe not. But one way to get out of a feeling of loneliness is to become a friend for others. Keep them company. You have to give, then you receive, and you will cease being lonely.

A Sad Ending

I was desperately wanting to break into one of my philosophical dialogues with this lonely senior gentleman but my time was up and I had to leave. Karma and being lonely are linked.

What is a Mystic?

People can have a mystic quality about their being. But what is a mystic? It is someone who can get information from other sources than the five senses in the form of intuition and an inner knowing. Down through the centuries mystics have walked the earth and there are some living, right now, here in our modern culture.

The mystic’s experience is hard to describe and put into words because you are talking about divine insights and information. This is often ridiculed in our practical everyday world yet I am here to tell you that nothing could be more practical than having an experience of a visionary or a mystic quality. This is because, as you obtain information in the vision or the insight, you bring this fresh insight back here to the everyday world and it assists in making sense from what seems like a pointless existence. In this blog post I would like to share at least one of my visions with you.

Visions are Common

Let us begin by saying the vision experience is common. Many have prophetic dreams, future insight, and an inner knowing about life but do not discuss it openly. This saves a lot of trouble. Why try to convince somebody about your vision if they are narrow minded and have a rigid belief system?

There are different kinds of visions and spiritual experiences of a mystic quality that one can have. Once you have certain codes in your aura, or etheric field as I call it, you are allowed entry and passageway into other worlds where you can obtain information of a divine nature and bring it back into this world. Visions are available to everyone. You do not need to be special all you need is a sincere desire for truth and wisdom. Ecstatic visions, seeing angels, and visiting other dimensions are all part of the mystic totality of experience.

Vision Methods

There are several methods you can use to encourage the visionary experience. Meditation, chanting, and spiritual prayer are examples of popular methods that can alter waking consciousness. One such method, , by a man who lived in the Far East, resulted in meeting a divine Goddess being while in a trance.

The White Goddess

The man from the Far East used this method. He set up a candle on a table a little above eye level and sitting down facing the candle would put all of his focus and concentration upon the flame. This, he explained to me, lead him into an altered state of awareness where his insight expanded. In this state of consciousness he met Angels, a White Goddess, and mythical beings the kind you read about in children’s fairy books. The White Goddess spoke many messages to my visionary friend. I told him God was male and he just looked at me and laughed.

My Own Vision Experience

Enough of other mystics now! I have my own true life experience to share. Allow me to set the scene.

The scene is set in modern suburbia. It is a typical city in the Western world, and this vision happened to me in my study, of which I enjoy spending lots of time. My study is clean, well organized, my computer that I blog with has its own dedicated table. Surrounding my computer are bookshelves full of articles I have penned, magazines, and books of various kinds. Each time I enter my study I feel very relaxed and comfortable. Enough narration of other mystics, my own mystic experience went something like this…

I experienced my own visionary experience while standing upright in my study.

Standing upright all of a sudden my head began to feel strange, almost giddy, and I nearly lost awareness of where I was standing and what I was doing at the time. I was close to passing out but lucky for me I did not and I can recount the entire experience. My body began to swoon and I grabbed the wall, as best as I could, for something to hold onto as my legs on their own were not able to support my upright standing position.

A bolt of fire shot up from the base of my spine to the top of my head. The heat from this body sensation made me very uncomfortable as it was intense. Never before in my life had I experienced such a thing. I was more than a little frightened.

My thirst became great. A water bottle was near on my bookshelf, I always have a bottle of water around me, and drinking it gave me some, although not much, comfort. A clock was next to the water bottle and I noted the time. The entire mystic experience lasted around ten minutes.

Next what happened was a complete surprise. My hands became very hot, not unpleasantly so, but much hotter than the rest of my body. I lifted my left hand to my face and the heat coming from my hand made my cheek warm, then hot, then boiling hot. I retracted my hand in amazement. To this very day I have hot hands and the heat from both hands remains with me until this day.

True to Your Self

The knowledge of your soul purpose gives you the opportunity to master your destiny. The reason is because soul purpose comes from your inner spirit. It is your soul that is the real part of you.

Personality is acquired. Like a fine dress or a nice suit personality can be changed. It is a stamp imprinted upon you by the outside world. Circumstances in life, schools, and institutions layer this energy upon us and this becomes our personality. It is the least real part of us.

Soul purpose is a part of our energetic blueprint. It comes to earth with us and we take it with us after death. Its energy is permanent and is immortal as the human soul. The personality vanishes at death and releases its energy into the etheric.

Hang on a minute! We live in a society where most effort is put into the personality which is the most artificial part of our being. Do we develop the evolution of our soul? And how does one go about it once you know? There is a movement, I am happy to say, among some where inner growth and development is taken seriously.

Mind is Powerful

In an ideal world we would be encouraged as children on how important soul purpose is to our spiritual evolution. Sadly we are not told much about it.

The power of the mind is not explained to us and metaphysics is laughed at which causes this empowering inner human talent to fall asleep. We are trained to accept information coming into ourselves from schools, institutions, and authority figures. What if all the information we have so far received is, in reality and application, useless to us all?

Ideal Made Real

Here is a plan that may not win the Nobel Peace prize but does, in fact, bring one much peace.

Soul Purpose. This gives meaning to your life. Your life story sings a beautiful song.
See Ideals in Your Mind. Begin to design your life the way you wish it to be. Direction comes from inside you as opposed to the outside world.
Set Achievable Targets. You want to do things. Time to make your life shopping list! Include important life areas such as career, children, family, home, and a balance in your mind, body, and spirit.

All three of these, that is soul purpose, seeing ideals in your mind the way you wish life to go, and setting achievable targets need to be aligned and congruent. The more aligned these important life areas become the more harmony, and fun, you have in your life. If you begin to live this simple blueprint you begin to grow your inner power more and more.

It is A Good Question

A question I often get asked in readings is WHAT IS MY SOUL PURPOSE? If someone can find out the answer to this question they are really, I am happy to say, ahead of the game. It is true 95% of the people walking this earth do not know what their purpose is in life. Sad really.

If the soul does not imprint on the mind its mission something else is substituted as the mind cannot be left blank. The purpose of an institution or a dictatorship perhaps? Whoa, let us not get too heavy! Besides the good thing is we can never lose our real purpose. We can forget about it, bury it, hide it, but never really get rid of it. You cannot part the soul from the body, except upon death, so the soul purpose never really leaves us although it is often dormant.

Confusion Blueprint

Here is something I do not wish for you. I call it the confusion blueprint.

No Soul Purpose. Walk around lost not knowing why you are here.
No Ideals. Outside world tells your inner spirit what to have as your personal ideals in life. A losers game if I ever saw one!
No Achievable Targets in Mind. Like jumping on a plane when the stewardess asks you where you wish to go you reply, ” Anywhere will do lady!”

The confusion blueprint is a life path I highly recommend you do not follow! Peace, poetry, and sweet music upon your journey.

My Life Purpose Journey

In the previous post we talked about how important it is to have a life purpose. In my journey, looking back at how I arrived at my life purpose, it went through several stages.

First. Knowing that there was something better ahead for me. But not knowing what it is. The other problem was not having a clue how to get there. So the first step in reaching for a better life is SEARCHING FOR A LIFE PURPOSE.

Second. You discover what your life purpose is. At this stage of your inner growth you can clearly say I NOW HAVE MY LIFE PURPOSE! This is a major milestone on your path. You have, however, no idea on how to implement it in real life. This is your challenge and your rewards will come once you have mastered this step in your evolution.

Third. You now have something to play with. You have 1. Your Life purpose, and, 2. Some idea how to get there and are making steady progress. Your next part of the journey is to align all life areas so you are happy in everything that your day to day living touches. Here are the important values and ideals to hold near and dear.

Conclusion. It is easier to write a blog post than to live the ideal life. You can make progress more and more and get closer to what an ideal life should be like. Knowing what your life purpose is on your path is a big one to work out for yourself. I would say, with much safety, over 90% of the people in the Western World do not know their life purpose. It is kind of frightening when you think about it.

Your Life Purpose

Making sense of life and why we are here is a lot easier when we know our life purpose. Some call it soul purpose. It is a deep inner knowing that we have something big to achieve. Your life purpose gives you direction, a sense of calm, and a feeling of happiness knowing you are here to contribute to yourself , the planet, and to help lift humanity.

Each one of us has vast opportunities inside of us. We are all possible of greatness, and happiness, in our own respective fields. Some people have found their life purpose but some have not.

We Forget Why We Are Here

Many of us forget why we are here. It is all a big mystery. If you do not remember what your life purpose is there is a good reason for it. We forget because outside circumstances do not support our inner growth and direction. If you know your life purpose it will give you much happiness. You are at a big disadvantage if you do not know what your life purpose is on earth.

Making It

If you are already contributing to yourself and the world at large you most likely have already found your life purpose. It is your reason for being here. It gives you a bounce to your step. It energizes you, delights you, and offers you much inner comfort.

Benefits of Having a Life Purpose

The main benefits of having a life purpose clearly in your sights is the happiness that flows to you. Your chakras are open, your energy field is strong, you attract what you want, and your presence lifts up and gives happiness to others. You have gone from struggle to flow. These are the keys to living your true journey.
